coronavirus update

Life looks different right now as communities near and far band together — by staying apart — to protect one another. We understand that the circumstances surrounding the coronavirus are challenging to navigate, so let us say this: we will get through this together. Our team remains committed to prioritizing the health and well-being of our community and has implemented a number of protocols that ensure our residents, future residents, and valued team members are safe and supported during these uncertain times.

  • for our residents

Reducing the transmission of the coronavirus is of paramount importance to us. Our team is closely following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other national and local health organizations, and we encourage our residents to do the same. We have increased the scope and frequency of sanitation efforts of essential shared spaces and are limiting our maintenance response to emergency and urgent requests. Further, we ask that residents please limit person-to-person interactions and contact our team primarily by phone or email. For a full list of leasing and maintenance changes, including updates to our front desk hours and package delivery procedures, please visit our Resident Portal or call 703.294.4641.

Providing effortless connection has always been one of the top priorities at the Ten, and it is a priority we will continue to deliver on while observing appropriate social distancing guidelines. Updates on quarantine-friendly programming are sent via email, posted on our Resident Portal, and are featured on our social media pages. We look forward to continuing to offer a high-quality resident experience and opportunities for camaraderie during this time when we all need it most.

While working diligently to slow the spread is critical, we also acknowledge that the impact of the coronavirus extends well beyond its potential physical implications. We encourage our residents to support their mental health by eating well, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep. Taking breaks from pandemic-related news or social media and trying enjoyable activities can also reduce stress.

  • for those looking for a home

We understand that now, more than ever, finding the right place to call home is a meaningful and time-sensitive process. Our leasing office is still open and operating under normal business hours, and we are well equipped to provide you with a seamless online leasing experience.

For a personalized online leasing experience, we are offering self-guided in-person tours and can make arrangements to send photos and conduct virtual tours via FaceTime, Zoom, Google Hangouts, or other video conferencing services. The application process is available online, and all lease documents may be signed electronically. For qualified applicants who need to make a change to their living situation, we are happy to provide up-to-date availability and leasing specials.

Rest assured that our team will be right there every step of the way to shepherd the process, answer questions, and provide updates for our community as related to coronavirus developments. To find out more information or to apply for a home, we invite interested parties to reach out to our leasing office via phone at 844.887.0304 or email at info@tenatclarendon.com.

  • for our valued team members

Our team members are the heart and soul of our communities, and we would be remiss if we did not address the steps we are taking to keep our employees safe. We have implemented recommendations put forth in the CDC’s Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers which includes, but is not limited to, implementing rotational work-from-home schedules to facilitate social distancing, limiting non-essential person-to-person contact, and requiring team members to pre-screen for COVID-19 symptoms prior to coming to work, monitor their health throughout the day, and stay home if they or a member of their family are diagnosed with COVID-19.

  • additional resource

We are continuing to monitor the recommended health and safety guidelines and will evolve our policies and procedures to ensure we are taking every precaution necessary to protect the welfare of our community. To find out more information relevant to the coronavirus and its impacts, we invite you to review the resources provided below.*
